Sprayprinting technology uses 10 times less paint to cover 4 times more area in a fraction of time compared to painting by hand. Our robots have very high work output with capacity to print over 200 square metres in 10 hours at full speed. Building and dismantling the workstation takes just few hours. Also no waste management required because we don’t produce anything other than empty spray cans which we take with us after completing the print.

It’s not fresh news to anyone that paints, varnishes and abrasive aerosols such as acetone and paint thinners are among most harmful chemicals to nature. Using robots for printing with paint allows to portion and control the paint deposition with surgical precision. This means around 90% more paint ends up on targeted surface instead of being blown in the air and carried around by wind. The emptying of the cans before discarding and reloading is over 99% which also adds on top to reduced harm margin.

With bringing modern technological capabilities into the game we can make large format artworks more reachable to general public and at the same time reduce the negative impact to the environment by fundamentally decreasing the amount of harmful chemicals used in the process. We are working on developing pigmentation technology which will allow to separate acrylic pigments from propellants and defeat the necessity to have paint mixed with toxic thinners which evaporate into the atmosphere and start using pressurised air or nitrogen as propellant to transfer the colour pigment onto the target surface. The development process is long and costly, but we work towards the goal regardless to the span of our steps. Consistency is what really counts while working towards established goals.
